As a child, every spare moment I had I was drawing. My classmates commissioned me to draw for them.  At 11 years old, my teacher had me paint on our classroom wall the diagram of the digestive system as a teaching tool.  That led to painting a mural on the hall walls.

Now as a mom, creating with my son is a daily joy. Together we learn about the diversity on our planet and our oceans. Visiting the Boston aquarium has had a powerful effect on us both.  The endless variety of creatures and colors and bioluminescence are all marvelous to discover. It's my desire to instill in him a respect for our planet. This has all developed the direction of my current body of work. I'm working on creating a new reality to help people stop and reflect on the wonder of the universe and how we're all connected. We all have a responsibility to care for our home.
